Questions about portraits

How do I control the mood of a portrait?
Name a lighting setup and a mood word together, such as soft beauty light, gentle, or split light, dramatic. The lighting pattern does most of the work, so changing it changes the whole feeling of the shot.
Can I put a portrait on a transparent or branded background?
Yes. Generate on a plain studio backdrop, then remove the background to get a transparent cutout. From there you can place the subject on any brand color or a clean white profile background.
Why do faces sometimes look soft or off?
Ask for sharp eyes and clear focus in the prompt, keep the background simple, and use a negative prompt to avoid distortion. Running the final image through an upscaler also helps keep skin and eyes crisp.
