Three simple steps

1

Upload an image

Drop in the photo you want to change - a product shot, a portrait, a scene or a screenshot.

2

Describe the edit

Write a plain instruction like 'make the car red' or 'change the background to a beach at sunset'.

3

Generate and save

The model redraws the image to follow your instruction while keeping the rest intact, then download the result.

Convert your result

Need the finished image in another format? Convert it in the same workspace.

What Magic Edit does

Magic Edit turns a sentence into a finished edit. Instead of masking, layering or learning a photo editor, you upload an image and tell the model what to change in plain language. It reads your instruction, redraws the picture to match, and leaves the parts you did not mention as close to the original as it can. That makes it ideal for quick, specific changes - the kind that would take real time in traditional software.

What you can do with it

  • Recolor things: "make the jacket navy blue" or "change the wall to warm cream".
  • Add or remove elements: "add a cup of coffee on the desk" or "remove the logo from the shirt".
  • Swap backgrounds and settings: "put this product on a marble surface" or "change the sky to a dramatic sunset".
  • Change mood and conditions: "make it look like a rainy night" or "give it soft morning light".

Writing edit prompts that work

Be specific and name a single change. "Change the background to a snowy forest" works better than a paragraph describing the whole scene. If you want to erase one distracting object rather than transform the image, the object remover is more precise. To push a photo fully into a new look, use restyle or image to image. Our prompt writing guide has more on phrasing edits clearly.

Example instructions

Change the car color to glossy red, keep everything else the same
Replace the cloudy sky with a clear blue sky
Add warm string lights to the cafe in the background
Make the model's shirt a striped pattern instead of plain
Turn the daytime street scene into a rainy evening with reflections

Start from a clear, well-lit photo for the cleanest edits, and remember you can chain tools - run Magic Edit, then upscale the result for a crisp final image.

Questions about the ai magic edit

What kinds of edits can it make?
Color changes, adding or removing objects, swapping backgrounds, changing weather or time of day, restyling clothing, and many small fixes - all from a sentence. It is closer to telling a designer what you want than nudging sliders.
How is this different from image to image?
Image to image restyles the whole picture toward a prompt and a strength dial. Magic Edit follows a targeted instruction and tries to keep everything you did not mention the same, so it is better for one specific change.
Why did it change more than I asked?
Instruction-based editing redraws the image, so some drift is normal. Keep prompts short and specific, name only the change you want, and run it again if the result strays - each pass varies a little.
