How credits work

Everything you make spends credits from your plan's monthly pool. A standard image is 20 credits; High quality is 30 and Ultra is 50, because they run extra processing. Editing tools like upscale, enhance and convert cost a small amount each. Generating several images at once earns a discount - 5% off for two, up to 15% off for four.

Your credit balance and the day it resets are always shown at the top of the workspace, so you never have to guess what a generation will cost.

Plans

The free plan is a great way to try img.now, with a monthly pool of credits and a 24-hour window on saved files. Pro and Max raise the monthly credits, keep your files long-term, remove the watermark, and give your generations priority so they finish faster. See the pricing page for the current limits on each plan.

Changing or cancelling your plan

You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime from your account billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately so you can keep creating; downgrades and cancellations apply from the start of your next billing cycle, and you keep your current benefits until then. Billing is handled securely by Stripe - We never see or store your card details.

Worked example: what a plan covers

Because a standard image is 20 credits, Pro's 5,000-credit pool covers a lot of standard generations, and you can stretch it further with batch discounts or shorten it by choosing High or Ultra quality. The exact cost of any action is shown before you run it, so you are never guessing - A four-image standard batch, for instance, shows its discounted total on the cost line.

Monthly vs annual

Both Pro and Max offer monthly or annual billing, and annual works out to roughly two months free over paying month to month. You can switch between them, or between plans, from your account at any time; the change takes effect at your next billing date and you keep your current benefits until then.
